The Model 815L Low Range Option provides a unit specifically designed for low kVp and low mA operation. The low range option is perfect for digital x-rays, dental and flouroscopy machines, which typically operate at lower kV and mA settings. Built with the same excellent quality and accuracy as the model 815, the new 815L boasts the same precision as its predecessor, the 815: an impressive kVp accuracy of 2% +/-1kV at 25 to 100mA and an exposure time accuracy of 1% +/- 2% milliseconds. Optional accessories include a sleekly tailored carrying case for safe storage and transport as well as remote display unit (Model 815RD) for easy readouts from a distance.

There is a high resolution mode which is used for measurements on older x-rays and x-rays with slow rise times.

The kVp Meter has a large display which is readable from outside the x-ray room.
